Lee grew up in St. Paul, Minnesota, with Prince and the Minneapolis sound in the water. He started DJing in local bars and rose to Director of Entertainment for a multi-club complex, where reading a room and running a whole night became second nature.
From there to South Florida’s top venues and a weekly live radio mix show in Miami, then to Los Angeles, where he became a go-to for high-profile events and private celebrations. In 2007 he founded Hey Mister DJ with one promise: DJs that please without the cheese.
BizBash named him DJ of the Year, and California Wedding Day named Hey Mister DJ the best wedding DJ in Los Angeles. On the microphone he has been the voice of award shows, welcomed guests on the red carpet, and hosted conferences and sales kickoffs for global brands.
He also created Let’s Play LA, a live game-show experience he hosts himself, with Miles on the decks. Like Miles and Brandon, he has the records and the hands for them.
